Role Overview: You will be supporting the technology and data governance function of the Financial Crimes program at FIS. Your main responsibility will be to help establish a strong tech and data governance culture and support various system implementations across Global Financial Crimes Compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Design, evolve, and scale the data governance framework, including processes, policies, and technology - Write documentation such as data governance workflows, standards, guidelines, and operating procedures - Implement and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance - Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis - Create and maintain comprehensive data lineage documentation - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data quality standards and metadata management - Contribute to the development of master data management processes - Generate reporting on Financial Crimes Data Governance KPIs and metrics - Monitor and communicate regulatory changes affecting data governance - Perform reviews and evaluations to ensure compliance with laws and regulations - Participate in compliance sessions and presentations Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering) - Five or more years of experience in regulatory compliance - Proven experience as a Data Analyst in the financial services industry, preferably in Financial Crimes Compliance - Experience with data governance practices, data quality, data lineage, metadata management, and data analytics - Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy - Ability to build relationships across the organization - Effective communication and collaboration skills Additional Details: FIS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information processed to provide services.
