Comos Solution Architect

Role Overview: As a COMOS Solution Architect, your main responsibility will be to design, customize, and optimize the COMOS data model in alignment with Siemens Energy's business requirements. Your role will involve creating innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and reduce project costs. You will play a crucial part in driving digital transformation within the organization by developing new functionalities, integrating interfaces with third-party software, and supporting the implementation of innovative technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze user requirements and customize COMOS structures. - Design templates and assist in implementing innovative technologies. - Develop and optimize the COMOS environment to automate data processes and increase business efficiency. - Collaborate with tools like Teamcenter, PDMS, HYSYS, or PCS7 to adapt and extend the COMOS data model. - Empower Advanced Key Users (AKUs) through training and support for new functionalities implementation. - Resolve complex issues using tools like the COMOS object debugger. - Manage system and database updates for compatibility with the latest features and technologies. Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in COMOS data model customization, specifically in adapting iDB data models, creating structures, objects, and templates. - COMOS Level II Administrator certification or equivalent experience. - Proficiency in COMOS modules such as process engineering, I&C engineering, logical engineering, and electrical engineering. - Familiarity with COMOS Enterprise Server functionalities and Modularized Engineering (ME). - Scripting experience in VB, XML (preferred). - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders effectively. - Excellent interpersonal skills for training and communication with stakeholders.
