Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Community Engagement & Mobilization Identify and engage with target communities, local leaders, and NGOs for program outreach. Conduct field visits, meetings, and information sessions to spread awareness about training and employment opportunities. Develop relationships with community influencers, educational institutions, and government bodies to enhance outreach. 2. Candidate Enrollment & Awareness Campaigns Organize community events, job fairs, and workshops to attract potential candidates. Develop and distribute promotional materials, such as flyers, brochures, and social media content, in collaboration with the marketing team. Address queries from community members and potential beneficiaries regarding program benefits, eligibility, and enrollment processes. 3. Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with internal teams (mobilization, placement, and training teams) to align outreach efforts with organizational goals. Liaise with local government departments, CSR partners, and NGOs to enhance program reach. Facilitate collaboration between community members and training centers to ensure program accessibility. 4. Data Collection & Reporting Maintain a database of engaged community members, enrolled candidates, and outreach activities. Provide weekly and monthly reports on outreach effectiveness, challenges, and recommendations. Monitor and evaluate outreach efforts to improve strategies. 5. Advocacy & Public Relations Represent the organization in local events, panel discussions, and networking forums. Advocate for skill development and employment initiatives within the community. Handle public relations efforts, ensuring the organizations mission and programs gain visibility. Preferred candidate profile Education: Bachelors degree in Social Work, Community Development, Public Relations, Sociology, or a related field. A Masters degree in Social Work (MSW), Rural Development, or Public Administration is a plus. Work Experience: 2-4 years of experience in community outreach, mobilization, social impact projects, or NGO work. Prior experience in skill development, vocational training, CSR initiatives, or public welfare programs is highly preferred. Experience working with government agencies, NGOs, corporate CSR teams, or community-based organizations is an advantage. Technical & Functional Skills: Strong communication and networking skills to engage with community members, local leaders, and organizations. Experience in mobilization strategies , grassroots outreach, and awareness campaigns. Event planning and coordination for job fairs, workshops, and training drives. Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Sheets, and CRM tools for data tracking and reporting. Familiarity with social media platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram) for digital outreach. Key Competencies & Soft Skills: Passionate about social impact and community development. Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and engagement within communities. Problem-solving and adaptability to handle challenges in the field. Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently. Multilingual abilities (regional/local languages) are a strong advantage. Willingness to travel extensively for field visits and community interactions. Additional Preferences: Candidates with a background in social impact programs, education initiatives, or employment generation projects will be preferred. Prior experience in working with marginalized communities, youth development, or skill training programs is highly desirable. Ability to create awareness materials, presentations, and digital content for outreach is a plus.
