Role Overview: Polygnan is seeking a spirited and driven Community Event Manager/Lead who possesses the ability to envision, plan, and execute engaging experiences for students across various demographics, ranging from curious 7-year-olds in tribal schools to ambitious teens in bustling metros. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in bringing Polygnan's mission to fruition, regardless of the learner's location - be it a tier-1 University, a village school, or a tribal community center. What You'll Do: - Design and implement experiential learning events, spanning from art camps to entrepreneurship bootcamps to industry visits. - Develop events from inception, encompassing planning, logistics, partnerships, and on-ground execution. - Operate in diverse settings, including tier 1 cities, small towns, and tribal/remote villages in Karnataka. - Act as a conduit between Polygnan's mission and the community's dynamism. - Cultivate and expand the community of young changemakers both in offline and online realms. - Oversee marketing and branding for events, encompassing posters, reels, partnerships, and shoutouts. - Uphold a positive atmosphere and ensure clarity of purpose at all times. - Manage event outreach, branding, and storytelling through content creation and social media. - Foster vibrant local communities that mirror Polygnan's values and unlock the potential in children and youth. We're Looking for Someone Who: - Is a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to engage with diverse communities. - Possesses exceptional English communication skills and can adapt to local contexts with empathy. - Enjoys interacting with children, youth, and grassroots changemakers. - Is self-motivated, socially adept, and thrives in a startup-like environment. - Demonstrates proficiency in organization, collaboration, and task completion. - Exhibits creativity, resourcefulness, and the ability to navigate uncharted territories effectively. - Bonus points if you have experience in organizing college fests, youth initiatives, or leading community clubs. What You'll Get: - Salary: 3 - 3.5 LPA - Opportunity to closely collaborate with the founders and core team. - 2 weeks per year to work remotely from any location. - Exposure trips to witness the impact of your work. - 4 paid leaves to volunteer for a cause close to your heart. - Learning stipend of 10K + book reimbursement of 2K. - Join a warm, fun, and mission-driven team that values heartfelt, impactful work. If you are someone who embraces challenges with a "Let's do it!" attitude more than uncertainties with an "I don't know" stance, we invite you to be a part of our team. Learn more: www.polygnan.org,
