Communications Intern

As a Communications Intern at our company, you will play a crucial role in capturing and sharing compelling stories. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Conducting interviews and conversations with beneficiaries and stakeholders to capture authentic stories. - Documenting stories and events in clear, concise, and engaging formats such as articles, short write-ups, social media captions, and case studies. - Supporting the creation of both internal and external communication material. - Assisting in building and maintaining an archive of stories, photographs, and other content assets. - Collaborating with the communications team to generate fresh ideas for content. - Supporting the design of visual content for social media posts, presentations, or reports using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Canva, or similar. Qualifications required for this role are: - A Bachelors or Masters degree (ongoing or completed) in Communications, Journalism, English, Liberal Arts, Media Studies, Public Relations, or related fields. - Candidates from Design, Fine Arts, or related disciplines with strong writing skills are also encouraged to apply. Desired Skills & Competencies include: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with knowledge of regional languages like Telugu and Hindi being a plus. - Strong interviewing and documentation abilities, comfortable talking to people and drawing out stories. - Ability to write across various formats, from short social media copy to long-form articles. - Good organizational skills to manage multiple stories and deadlines. - Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, and Figma is a significant advantage. - Creativity, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn are also highly valued in this role.,
