The role of Installation & Commissioning Engineer at our company involves overseeing projects with low to medium complexity, ensuring the efficient completion of installation, testing, and commissioning activities in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. As an Installation & Commissioning Engineer, your responsibilities will include contributing technically to the planning and implementation of installation, testing, and commissioning activities at the site. You will be required to make design changes, submit mark-ups for project documentation, and adhere to project contract specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning, controlling, and coordinating site installation & commissioning activities to meet deadlines and project closure requirements. During the site execution phase, you will conduct risk and opportunity assessments to identify and report potential risks related to contracts, quality, programs, and costs. You will be expected to prepare procedures, method statements, and activity-based risk assessments for installation, testing, and commissioning work at the site. Furthermore, you will need to implement risk control measures and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Customer coordination is a crucial aspect of the role, involving providing relevant information to customers and coordinating testing and commissioning activities with third-party agencies and service engineers. You will also be responsible for engaging in product FAT inspection at vendor/supplier factories. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and possess at least 5 years of experience in Installation, Testing & Commissioning of substation primary and secondary systems, as well as FACTS-STATCOM, SVC, TCSC, FSC, etc. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is a requirement for this role.
