Commercial Engineering Lead- Edge & Data, APAC

Position Summary: As the Edge & Data Commercial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in accelerating the adoption of containerized Edge solutions, AI / ML applications, advanced data analytics, and Industrial DataOps in the Asia Pacific region. You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of Rockwell Automation products for customers. Your Responsibilities: - Maintain technical expertise in Rockwell Automation Smart Process products and industrial automation environments - Act as a technical expert for the Asia Pacific region, supporting pre-sales customer engagements - Create technical documentation, presentations, and tools to enhance sales effectiveness - Support trade shows, conduct customer demonstrations, and build data-driven business cases - Present qualitative and quantitative value of proposed solutions and conduct pre-sales technology workshops Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent - Minimum of 10 years of experience in control system design - Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, JavaScript, C#, and other web development technologies - Understanding of PI Historian, InfluxDB, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Industrial DataOps solutions Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in the Software Industry with expertise in Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Kubernetes - Knowledge of Rockwell Automation products and cloud infrastructure - Ability to lead projects and project teams Additional Details: - Rockwell Automation offers a comprehensive benefits package including mindfulness programs, volunteer time off, employee assistance programs, and personalized wellbeing programs. - The company promotes a diverse and inclusive workplace, encouraging candidates to apply even if their experience doesn't align perfectly with all qualifications.
