Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager

In this role, you will:

• Research complex credit investigations and diverse credit information for loans
• Identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities or functional area
• Review and identify basic operational assignments that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives while exercising independent judgement to guide medium risk deliverables
• Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders including internal as well as external customers

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 2 + years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• Possess basic technical skills like Power BI, VBA, MACRO.
• Support performance and overall effectiveness of team, as well as cross-group administrative operations
• Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management
• Review financial and credit information of loans for companies and industries for their Annual Reviews and preparation of Trend Cards
• Assist in assessment and monitoring of credit risk with covenant monitoring and trigger monitoring.
• Respond to customer inquiries, generate status reports for management or bankers and contact available sources of information
• Perform or guide others on complex tasks or initiatives that require planning, evaluation, and interpretation
• Independently prioritize work and provide day-to-day-work leadership and mentorship to team
• Lead or contribute to implementation of new or revised processes and procedures, drive improvement of process by automation and transformation.
• Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to immediate team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management on wide range of information

Job Expectations:

• Assessment and monitoring of Covenants, triggers , credit policy exceptions and preparation of CMR- Through understanding of Credit and Credit Risk
• Possess basic technical skills like Power BI, VBA, MACRO.
