Collibra Developer

As a skilled Collibra Developer joining the FPE Centre of Excellence (COE) team, your primary role will involve configuring, maintaining, and enhancing Collibra environments to support business and technical metadata management. You will be responsible for developing and managing APIs for harvesting and synchronizing metadata from various data sources into Collibra. Additionally, you will design and implement processes to automate the extraction and ingestion of metadata from external systems into Collibra. Your contribution will be crucial in building and optimizing workflows, connectors, and custom scripts to enhance data governance and lineage. Collaboration with data owners, stewards, and stakeholders is essential to ensure that Collibra solutions align with business requirements. Troubleshooting issues related to Collibra integrations and data harvesting, as well as creating and maintaining technical documentation, will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Configure, maintain, and enhance Collibra environments for metadata management. - Develop and manage APIs for metadata harvesting from various sources. - Design and implement processes for automating metadata extraction and ingestion. - Build and optimize workflows, connectors, and custom scripts for data governance. - Collaborate with stakeholders to align Collibra solutions with business needs. - Diagnose and resolve issues related to Collibra integrations and data harvesting. - Create and maintain technical documentation for integration guides and best practices. Required Skills & Experience: - Proven experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Platform. - Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP) and integration techniques. - Hands-on experience in harvesting metadata from databases, data warehouses, and cloud platforms. - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Groovy) for automation. - Familiarity with data governance, data lineage, and metadata management concepts. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Collibra certification(s) such as Collibra Ranger or Collibra Steward. - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration frameworks. - Previous experience in a Centre of Excellence or similar environment.,
