Job Description

Collection Officer

Key Responsibilities

Contact customers via phone, email, and field visits (if required) to follow up on overdue payments.
Maintain detailed records of collection efforts and customer interactions.
Negotiate and persuade customers to make payments while adhering to company policies.
Resolve customer queries related to billing, outstanding amounts, and payment modes.
Identify accounts with issues and escalate difficult cases to senior management.
Track, monitor, and achieve monthly collection targets and KPIs.
Coordinate with internal teams for account updates and settlement processes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company guidelines in all interactions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate (preferred).
15 years of experience in collections, recovery, telecalling, or customer handling.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
Knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems (preferred).
Target-oriented and able to work under pressure.
