Job Description

A collection executive manages the recovery of outstanding payments by contacting clients, negotiating payment plans, and maintaining accurate records while adhering to legal and company policies. Key responsibilities include achieving collection targets, ensuring customer service, resolving discrepancies, and reporting on account status to management. Essential skills for this role are strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Payment Recovery: Proactively contact clients with overdue payments to recover outstanding debts.
  • Negotiation: Establish payment plans, terms, and timelines that are acceptable to both the client and the company.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection efforts, transactions, and outcomes.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to maintain positive client relationships, even during difficult conversations.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve payment discrepancies and other potential issues between clients and the business.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to management on the status of collections, outstanding debts, and achieved targets.
  • Compliance: Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies and relevant legal and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, with higher education being a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in collections, finance, or customer service is beneficial.
  • Other: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be necessary for field collection roles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
