Cognos Developer

What You Will Do

• Gather and analyze requirements from business partners.
• Develop and create reports using Cognos to support the internal ATM monitoring application.
• Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and meet the needs of the business.
• Maintain and update existing reports as needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their reporting needs.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Cognos reporting tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Cognos reports.

What You Will Need To Have

• Bachelors degree required; relevant, equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
• Development experience in Data Engineering work along with reporting in Cognos & Cognos API with data modelling using Cognos Framework Manager.
• Strong SQL skills with expertise in writing complex SQL queries.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve application issues.
• Experience working within an agile development team and interacting with multiple stakeholders.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Basic understanding of Snowflake database.
• Familiarity with Data Warehouse solutions/ Dimensional Modelling.
