Coffee Trader

The Coffee Trader position requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Agriculture, or Engineering, preferably supplemented with an MBA in International Trade. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in coffee trading or sales within relevant destination markets. As a Coffee Trader, you will report to the Business Head and be located in Bangalore. As the Coffee Trader, you will be instrumental in enhancing the company's presence in global markets. Your responsibilities will include managing client relationships, understanding the commercial needs of different regions, and developing strategies to address them. You will collaborate with various teams such as coffee processing plants, sustainability, operations, and logistics to execute the global sales strategy and support business development efforts. Moreover, you will be involved in leading commercial discussions on regulatory environments like EUDR with the sustainability team. Your role will also encompass contributing to trading decisions, understanding market trends, and anticipating client requirements. Additionally, you will coordinate activities across functions such as inventory management, risk exposure, quality control, and logistics from the origin to the final destination. The ideal candidate should possess a good personality, have the ability to clearly communicate complex topics, and be willing to learn the Allana system.
