The role of a Back End Developer at FandomX involves working full-time to develop and maintain the server side of web applications using Node.js and the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js). Collaboration with Front End Developers and other team members is essential to ensure highly responsive, scalable, and optimized applications. The position is based in Bengaluru with the opportunity for some remote work. The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong proficiency in Node.js and the MERN stack, along with experience in developing RESTful APIs. A good understanding of server-side languages like JavaScript or TypeScript, knowledge of database technologies such as MongoDB, and familiarity with version control systems like Git are required. Additionally, experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha, front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is beneficial. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field are preferred qualifications.
