CNC & VMC Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and a solid understanding of fabrication processes. Duties

• Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
• Set up and adjust tooling, fixtures, and equipment as necessary for optimal performance.
• Perform fabrication tasks, including grinding and welding, to meet production requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Utilise hand tools and mechanical knowledge for assembly and maintenance of machinery.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

• Proficient in CNC operation with a strong understanding of machining principles.
• Experience in fabrication, grinding, welding, and working with sheet metal is highly desirable.
• Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with hand tools and tooling techniques relevant to CNC operations.
• Basic mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations during production processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
