1 Read and interpret technical drawings/control plans for job execution. 2 To keep working knowledge of Measuring Instruments and their least counts (LC). Also, check the Calibration of the Instruments.
3 Perform proper Setup of CNC/VMC machines with tools, inserts, and offsets.
4 To keep a basic understanding of Machine operations/ functions and execute the Job accordingly.
5 Understanding of Tolerance as mentioned in the Technical Drawings. 6 To perform regular Tool checks and other machine parts before starting, maintain as per the Daily Maintenance checklist, and replace worn-out inserts.
7 To check and monitor Tool life. Also, maintain records of it.
8 To coordinate with the Maintenance person during the time of Preventive Maintenance.
9 To record everyday Job work in the Production reports, and also document the rejections and rework.
10 To maintain PPE kits and follow safety guidelines.
11 To keep understanding and follow the 5S practices.
