CNC Programmer
Summary:Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs to accurately manufacture precision parts per engineering drawings and specifications.Key Responsibilities* Program Development: Create and modify CNC programs (G-code/M-code) using CAD/CAM software.* Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze technical blueprints and engineering specifications (including GD&T) to determine optimal machining processes.* Setup & Tooling: Select, set up, and adjust appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine parameters.* Optimization & Quality: Conduct test runs, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.* Maintenance: Perform basic machine maintenance and upkeep.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, M-code).* Strong experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.).* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform shop mathematics.* Familiarity with various CNC machines (mills, lathes) and precision measuring instruments.* Problem-solving skills and strong attention to details.
