Job Description:
1. **Machine Setup & Operation**
* Set up and operate CNC machines (laser, plasma, milling, turning, etc.) as per job requirements.
2. **Program Interpretation**
* Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and CNC programs (G-code/M-code).
3. **Tool Handling & Adjustment**
* Select and install appropriate tools, adjust tool offsets and cutting speeds.
4. **Material Handling**
* Load/unload raw material and finished components safely and efficiently.
5. **Precision & Quality Check**
* Measure dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other gauges to ensure tolerances.
6. **Routine Maintenance**
* Perform daily checks, cleaning, oiling, and report machine malfunctions to maintenance.
7. **Production Documentation**
* Maintain job cards, inspection reports, and daily production logs.
8. **Safety Compliance**
* Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE while working on machines.
9. **Collaboration**
* Coordinate with supervisors, QC inspectors, and other team members for smooth operations.
10. **Continuous Improvement**
* Suggest process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce rework.
