Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Create and optimize CNC programs for FANUC-controlled milling machines
Select and use suitable CNC programming software such as Mastercam, CAD/CAM, or equivalent.
Adjust machine settings and parameters to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.

2.

Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
Translate drawings into accurate CNC programs.
Ensure part production meets drawing tolerances and quality standards.

3.

Carry out proofing and transition to mass production efficiently.
Monitor and improve machining processes to minimize waste and errors.

4.

Use software to design custom metal parts and create machining plans.
Design fixtures and work-holding tools to support complex operations.
Maintain accurate documentation, including work order files, program archives, and process records.

5.

Continuously analyze and refine machining strategies to optimize tool paths and cycle times.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions in case of production issues.

Key Requirements:

Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in FANUC CNC milling machine programming.
Proficiency in CNC programming software (Mastercam, CAD/CAM, etc.).
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Knowledge of fixture design and setup.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) environments.
Exposure to lean manufacturing and process optimization techniques.
