CNC Machine Operator / Technician

Key Responsibilities:

CNC Machine Setup & Operation:

• Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes, milling, and other processing machines.
• Load raw materials and ensure correct machine calibration before processing.
• Perform tool changes, machine adjustments, and program inputs/corrections independently.

Drawing Interpretation & Processing:

• Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Process workpieces accurately according to drawing tolerances and standards.
• Perform first piece inspection and dimension verification prior to batch production.

Inspection & Quality Control:

• Use precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and CMM (3D measuring tools).
• Ensure consistent product quality throughout the production run.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and production activities as required.

Maintenance & Safety:

• Assist in basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure equipment reliability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with safety regulations.

Production Coordination:

• Follow daily production schedules and tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Promptly report any abnormalities in machine operation, quality deviations, or material shortages.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in operating FANUC milling machines and Tsugami CNC lathes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T symbols.
• Knowledge of CNC programming basics and process optimization.
• Familiarity with standard precision measuring tools and quality inspection techniques.
• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Preferred:

• Exposure to precision component manufacturing or EMS industry is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in shifts or extended hours as per production needs.
