CNC Lathe Operator

The role of a CNC Lathe Machine Operator is crucial in ensuring that each large and small component is measured accurately to fit together properly in the final design. As a Turner at LIN SCAN with Subsidiaries worldwide, your responsibility is to identify potential problems by thoroughly understanding machine specifications and drawings before the production process. Reporting to the Production supervisor, it is essential to execute all tasks within your scope of work according to HSE standards, corporate policies, and plans approved by the Corporate Office. Your general responsibilities include complying with LIN SCAN IT requirements, maintaining a quality-conscious approach, safeguarding trade secrets, supporting fellow employees, embracing technical advancements, and upholding LIN SCAN's reputation. Following LIN SCAN's Process Flow Charts, interacting with other departments as needed, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the IT Department are key aspects of your role. Key responsibilities involve studying assembly specifications, measuring components accurately, identifying potential issues pre-production, assembling and polishing metal components, manufacturing metal components for tools and machinery, maintaining equipment, taking precise measurements, collaborating with machinists, and fulfilling other tasks assigned by the RD Director or immediate Supervisor. To excel in this role, you should hold an ITI Technical certificate or a Diploma in mechanical engineering, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the engineering/design department for production. Prior experience in inline inspection is preferred, and knowledge of Siemens Fanuc control operating systems is essential. Proficiency in Hindi and English is required for effective communication. Physically and mentally, you must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, walking, climbing, communicating effectively, maintaining focus, multitasking, wearing necessary safety equipment, and exhibiting personal mobility and reflexes to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.,
