CMM Programmer

In this role, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining the programs for our Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure accurate measurement of our products.
Job Title: CMM Programmer Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain CMM programs to inspect parts according to engineering specifications. 2. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure the accuracy of CMM programs and measurement results. 3. Perform CMM measurements to verify the quality and accuracy of machined parts. 4. Troubleshoot and debug CMM programs to resolve any issues that arise during the inspection process. 5. Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements. 6. Train and mentor other team members in CMM programming and measurement techniques. 7. Stay current with industry advancements in CMM technology and measurement methods. Requirements: 1. Proficient in CMM programming languages such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar. 2. Experience in precision measurement techniques and equipment. 3. Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles. 4. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 8. Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment is preferred.
