CloudSec Cloud and App Security Engineer

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define

  cloud-based security standards

  and collaborate with the

  DevOps team

  to integrate them into the

  Infrastructure-as-Code (IAC)

  framework and pipelines.
• Work with

  application developers

  and

  database administrators

  to provide creative solutions to complex technology challenges and business requirements.
• Responsible for

  thorough documentation

  of implementations through

  technical documentation

  and

  run books

  .
• Provide

  input and feedback

  on

  security architectures

  .
• Offer

  subject matter expertise

  on

  information security architecture

  and

  systems engineering

  to other IT and business teams.
• Translate

  security and technical requirements

  into

  business requirements

  , effectively communicating

  security risks

  to stakeholders, ranging from business leaders to engineers.
• Automate

  security controls, data

  , and

  processes

  to improve

  metrics

  and

  operational support

  .
• Implement the principle of

  Least Privilege

  and monitor excessive privilege using

  Entitlement Management tools

• Utilize

  cloud-based APIs

  to write network/system-level tools for safeguarding

  cloud environments

• Stay updated on

  emerging security threats

  , vulnerabilities, and controls.
• Investigate and recommend

  innovative technologies

  or methods to enhance

  Zoetis cloud-based environments

  security.
• Ensure compliance with relevant

  corporate policies

  and country-specific regulations, especially regarding

  local data privacy restrictions

• Partner with internal teams

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education:

• University Degree in

  Computer Science

• MS or

  AWS Cloud Certification

Experience:

• 6-8 years of experience in

  IT

  with a focus on

  security

• 3-5 years of experience in

  corporate cloud security

• Experience implementing or supporting

  Cloud-Based Security solutions

  Snyk

  Log Analytics

• Expertise in platform security and administration of

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
