Key Responsibilities: - Assist clients in enhancing the cloud security posture in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to safeguard the organization's infrastructure and data. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks, develop security policies, and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Design, implement, and configure cloud security controls to fortify cloud environments. - Develop and evaluate security controls on cloud-native solutions to enhance overall security. - Implement identity and access management practices while securely configuring cloud environments. - Strengthen cloud applications by identifying improvement opportunities, making recommendations, and implementing security enhancements. - Participate in cloud security architecture design and reviews to ensure robust security measures. - Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures, recommending changes or enhancements. - Lead security efforts by assisting with the integration and initial implementation of security solutions. - Conduct cloud security assessments to identify threats and detect security vulnerabilities effectively. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field(s) preferred. - Mandatory GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification. - Highly desirable certifications include CISSP, CISM, or similar relevant qualifications.
