As a Cloud Security Engineer at KPMG India, your primary responsibility will be to assist clients in enhancing their cloud security posture within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to safeguard the organization's infrastructure and data. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to assess risks, develop security policies, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will be tasked with designing, implementing, and configuring cloud security controls, as well as developing and evaluating security controls on cloud-native solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing identity and access management, securely configuring cloud environments, and enhancing cloud applications through recommendations and security enhancements. Your role will also involve participating in cloud security architecture design and reviews, identifying security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures, and suggesting changes or enhancements. You will lead security efforts by assisting with the integration and initial implementation of solutions, conducting cloud security assessments to identify threats and vulnerabilities, and recommending appropriate security measures.
