We are seeking an experienced Cloudera Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize real-time data pipelines using Cloudera Platform and Cloudera Streams Messaging (CSM) on AWS. The ideal candidate should have client-facing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a mixed client/Deloitte team.
Key Responsibilities:Design & develop real-time data ingestion and transformation pipelinesOptimize streaming data jobs for performance, reliability, and scalabilityWork with Cloudera Platform & Cloudera Streams Messaging (CSM)Deploy & manage data pipelines on AWSFollow best practices in data engineering & software principlesCollaborate with Financial Services clients (Retail/Commercial Banking preferred)Primary Skills:Cloudera Platform & Cloudera Streams Messaging (CSM - Kafka)Python PySpark (Streaming)Kafka for real-time data processingApache Nifi for data flow automationAWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)Secondary Skills (Nice to Have):HBase exposureSonarQube or similar code analysis toolsGIT for version controlFinancial Services domain knowledge (Retail/Commercial Banking)
