As a Managed Services CloudOps for IoT projects in the Smart Products & IoT Strategic Innovation Centre in India team at Pentair, your role involves supporting managed services and application/product operations for IoT projects. **Role Overview:** You will be responsible for applying best practices and strategies for product application and infrastructure maintenance. Your duties will include knowledge and purpose of various environments, understanding Git and AWS Code Commit, following hotfix and sequential configuration processes, managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines, proactive monitoring of AWS services, alert configurations, managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines, troubleshooting incidents, identifying root causes, fixing and documenting problems, and implementing preventive measures. Additionally, you will educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives and provide associated training as required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Apply best practices for Prod application and infrastructure maintenance - Ensure application and AWS Infrastructure proactive monitoring - Manage cloud environments according to security guidelines - Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures - Educate teams on new cloud-based initiatives - Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS solutions - Manage various AWS accounts billing and analyze costs - Automate regular tasks using Python and Bash scripting - Troubleshoot Mobile or Web App issues - Monitor AWS serverless services **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline - 2+ years of experience in Cloud Operations & Monitoring of AWS serverless services - 1+ years of experience in Smart/Connected Products & IoT workflow - Hands-on experience in troubleshooting Mobile or Web App issues - AWS platform knowledge or certification in AWS (SysOps or DevOps) - Experience with serverless/headless architecture, Lambda, API Gateways, Kinesis, ElasticSearch, ElasticCache, Dynamo DB, Athena, AWS IoT, Codecommit, Cloudtrail, Codebuild - Proficiency in Python, Bash, Node, Gitbash, CodeCommit - Experience in impact analysis for Infrastructure configuration change - Hands-on experience with Newrelic, Kibana, Splunk, and AWS Cloudwatch tools - Experience in operation support for IoT projects - Experience in AWS Cloud IoT Core platform - L2 Support experience in addition to CloudOps No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.,
