Cloud Security Engineer

• Provide security expertise to engineering and development teams, acting as a project team member providing consulting advise ensuring security requirements are integrated in the project.
• Monitor and secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Wiz.io for continuous threat detection and posture management.
• Provide specific security expertise to engineering teams by identifying and creating patterns and blueprints for repeatable security, infrastructure and application instantiations. Blueprints and patterns may address such areas as network design, database access, authentication methods, encryption requirements, key management, entitlement design, identity management, logging, input validation, secure data transfer among others.
• Significant technical expertise in Cloud Computing technologies, scripting languages (Python etc), integrating 3rd party monitoring tools, encryption tools and best practices, and forensics.
• Demonstrate ability to lead and manage business development / proposal efforts
• Support business development activities such as sales origination, proposal writing, effort estimation, and client relationship development
• Cloud security strategy, discovery assessments; Compliance requirements, cloud security frameworks
• Integrate Wiz.io into CI/CD pipelines and existing workflows to support automated security checks and remediation.
• Drive conversations with Senior account stakeholders to identify requirements, drivers and context
• Ability to translate technical cloud security requirements into business terms for CXO level stakeholders

Required Skills:

• Experience in managing and securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience using Wiz.io to monitor and improve cloud security posture.
• Identify and remediate misconfigurations, data exposures, secrets, and threats in real-time (Wiz.io)
• Automate compliance checks for frameworks like SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA using Wiz.io.
• Prioritize risks by business impact and support faster remediation.
• Integrate Wiz.io into existing security operations and incident response workflows.
• Develop policy-based guardrails and implement automated remediation using CSPM (Wiz.io)
• Secure VMs, containers, and serverless environments through Wiz.io insights.
• Build dashboards and reports for governance and visibility.
• Continuously optimize configurations using dynamic policy enforcement.
• Conduct training sessions and promote best practices across teams.
• Experience in cloud security standards, tools, and product offerings.
• Hands-on development experience in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across distributed teams.

To qualify for the role, you must have

1. 5+ years of experience in the Cyber Security and Cloud Security Domain

2. Minimum B. Tech. or equivalent educational qualification

3. Certifications CISSP, CCSP, CCSK etc.

4. Product certifications around AWS, Azure, GCP, Ali Cloud will be preferred

5. Product knowledge and certification for tools such as Terraform, Sentinel, Rego.
