Project Role : Cloud Platform Engineer Project Role Description : Designs, builds, tests, and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance. Must have skills : Microsoft Windows Server Administration Good to have skills : Microsoft Windows Desktop Management Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : Bachelors degree and/or relevant experience required with minimum 7 years of full time Skills:Globalscape EFT server v7 and v8FileZilla, WinSCP, CoreFTP, MoveITPowerShell and windows batch ScriptingKnowledge of Windows server 2012/2016/2019/2022Database basics - SQL 2008/2012/2016/2019 and Oracle 9i, 10g, 12cCloud basics Connecting to different Cloud providers Azure, AWS and GoogleKnowledge of Authentication providers Active Directory, NTLM, LDAP, Radius, SSONetworking basics IP addresses, Ports, Routing, Firewall rules, DNS, Load balancingITIL processesGood communication skills High Level Activities which this role needs to perform:Administer Electronic File Transfer Program using GlobalScape.Ensure the security of file transfers utilizing protocols such as HTTPS, FTPS, SFTPInstall and configure Globalscape solution on standalone or High Availability environment.Maintaining ARM DB reports or creating custom reports as requiredCreate or Modify Event Rules, Connections Profiles, AWEsCreate PowerShell Scripts for file transfers and utilities.Resolve technical problems effectively and efficiently working with internal functional and software development teams, and external vendors to identify root causes and solutions.Log service requests with vendors and coordinate diagnostics, requested actions and testing with functional teams.Work with project teams to understand the concepts and technical infrastructure of the to-be implemented modules/functionalities and create / document operations procedures.Etc Qualification Bachelors degree and/or relevant experience required with minimum 7 years of full time
