Cloud Operations Engineer

Job Description

Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure and services. Monitor and optimize AWS resources to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment and management processes using AWS containerization or other relevant tools. Implement and enforce security measures to protect AWS resources and data. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to AWS services and infrastructure . Stay updated with the latest AWS services and features , and proactively propose improvements to enhance cloud infrastructure. Cloud Services : In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with various AWS services such as RDS, IAM, VPC , and more. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Proficient in tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to design, provision, and manage infrastructure resources in a repeatable and automated manner. Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Skilled in monitoring AWS resources, configuring alerts, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance of applications and services. Security and Compliance : Understanding of AWS security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and compliance standards such as HIPAA or GDPR . Networking : Proficient in configuring and managing VPCs, subnets, security groups, routing tables, and VPN connections .
