You will be a Senior Manager I, Application Engineering Technical Lead at EY, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services. In this role, you will lead a team providing senior-level IT technical lead services across platforms, overseeing secure API integration, aligning architecture with user and enterprise goals, and driving software documentation standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew, providing guidance and training as necessary - Provide the most senior level IT technical lead and architecture services for critical projects - Lead and ensure the viability of IT deliverables, conduct testing, and provide production support - Identify potential solutions, approve technical solutions, and resolve technical problems - Communicate with key stakeholders, maintain knowledge of IT development methodology, and mentor IT staff - Review and approve documentation, identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement, and develop code and test artifacts - Amplify team productivity through collaboration, implementation of technology frameworks, and compliance with Information Technology and Information Security policies - Oversee data flow integration between multiple APIs and systems, drive cross-functional collaboration, and establish software documentation standards **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 14 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role focusing on application engineering - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - Proven experience in leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript - Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus - Solid experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills In addition to technical skills, you should have strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, constantly update yourself about new technologies, and have a winning personality to become a trusted advisor to stakeholders.
