Cloud Engineer - Oracle Data Migration

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing database migrations to AWS, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server. You will utilize AWS native and open-source tools, such as AWS DMS, for large-scale data migration ensuring minimal downtime. Additionally, you will perform integrity checks, tuning, backups, and recovery to maintain data integrity. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to resolve any migration issues that may arise. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in cloud migration on AWS and expertise in Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server administration. A strong understanding of database architecture and automation tools is required for this role. Experience with Terraform and AWS certification would be considered as a plus. This is a contract position for 3 to 6 months located in Chennai/Bangalore, with an immediate start date or short notice preferred.
