Cloud Database Administrator

As a Cloud Database Administrator specializing in MS-SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting cloud database operations for our leading client in a hybrid role based in India (Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune) on a 1-year contract. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems across various environments. To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a DBA, with a strong understanding of Cloud SQL and basic GCP concepts. Your tasks will involve database operations and monitoring, database creation, deletion, and upgrades, administration, and configuration, backup and restore procedures, as well as performance tuning and optimization. Additionally, you will be responsible for instance whitelisting for GKE applications. We are looking for a professional with excellent communication skills who can effectively collaborate with clients and translate their requirements into technical solutions.
