As a Data Catalog Implementation Specialist at Cigres Technologies Private Limited in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data catalog solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining data catalog solutions, including metadata management, search, and collaboration features. - Developing and enforcing metadata standards to ensure proper documentation and understanding of data. - Automating data discovery, curation, and lineage tracking across various data sources, including cloud and on-premises systems. - Implementing and monitoring data quality metrics and standards to guarantee data accuracy and integrity. - Integrating data catalogs with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and other enterprise systems. - Developing custom workflows, APIs, and scripting solutions to extend catalog capabilities. - Providing technical support and guidance to users on data catalog usage and best practices. - Contributing to data governance frameworks and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Skills Required: - In-depth understanding of data cataloging principles, metadata management, and data governance frameworks. - Familiarity with Informatica Services including Cloud Data Governance and Catalog, Metadata Command Center, Administration, Application Integration, Data Marketplace, and Monitoring. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data catalog capabilities. - Experience with database technologies, SQL, and data modeling. - Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java) for custom solutions. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly and concisely. - Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
