As an Automation Engineer at UST, you will be a key member of the Cloud Operations team, focusing on automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational workflows across AWS-hosted environments to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement automation for AWS infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines. - Manage and support Linux/Windows environments to ensure optimal uptime. - Automate provisioning/configuration of AWS services such as RDS, IAM, Route53, and CloudWatch. - Develop scripts and workflows to support audits, compliance, and security requirements. - Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement preventive actions. - Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to integrate automation into release and governance workflows. - Maintain automation standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational playbooks. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - AWS certifications such as SysOps Administrator and Solutions Architect are a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
