Cloud Associate

As a Cloud Associate in CloudOps, your role involves setting up and maintaining the monitoring infrastructure, ensuring the health, performance, and availability of systems, networks, applications, and services. You will collaborate with various teams and implement performance improvements for optimal system performance. Your responsibilities include incident detection and response, alerting and escalation, performance analysis, capacity planning, documentation and reporting, continuous improvement, as well as collaboration and communication. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and maintain monitoring infrastructure, including selecting and configuring monitoring tools, agents, and sensors. - Monitor the health, performance, and availability of systems, networks, applications, and services. - Detect and analyze incidents based on monitoring data and alerts, investigate root causes, and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution. - Configure alerting rules, ensure timely alerts, and escalate critical incidents as per procedures. - Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with teams for optimization. - Monitor resource usage trends for capacity planning and collaborate with capacity planning teams. - Maintain documentation related to monitoring configuration, incident response, and generate reports for stakeholders. - Stay updated with monitoring technologies, trends, and best practices, evaluate and improve monitoring processes. Qualifications Required: - B.Sc in Computers, BE, B.Tech, or equivalent experience. - 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role. - Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective interaction with technical and non-technical audiences. - Hands-on experience with GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, etc. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, Apache Airflow/Cloud Composer, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform. - Data modeling and performance optimization experience for large datasets. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Additional details about the company: - Excellent communication skills are required. - Knowledge of Cloud Computing, preferably GCP, is preferred. - Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment is mandatory.,
