Cloud Architect, VP

As a Cloud Architect at Deutsche Bank, you will be a valuable member of the Group Architecture team, focusing on evolving the Public and Private Cloud capabilities, promoting the cloud strategy, and creating reusable architecture patterns. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Banks" cloud strategy and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful implementation. - Support the evolution of the Banks Public and Private Cloud strategy and application migrations. - Develop repeatable architecture solutions, patterns, and blueprints for workloads on Google Cloud Platform and Private Cloud, and produce high-quality documentation for communication. - Provide expert guidance on cloud architecture to cross-functional application teams, addressing questions related to cloud application architectures. - Collaborate with the engineering team in Pune to support them in designing and creating Cloud-based architecture governance tooling. - Work closely with senior strategists, decision-makers, product owners, and engineers to ensure the successful implementation of Cloud strategy, patterns, and technologies. - Professional experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other Public Cloud providers. - Hands-on practical experience in architecture designs and engaging with the organization to build consensus. - Strong knowledge of DevOps and SRE best practices, and experience with CICD tooling such as GitHub and Terraform. - Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with a preference for Python or Java. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively influence various categories of individuals.
