Cloud Architect

• Design and implement multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures aligned with business and regulatory requirements (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Define cloud migration roadmaps and modernization strategies for legacy payment systems.
• Architect containerized and microservices-based solutions using Kubernetes, Docker, and service meshes.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Lead cost optimization, performance tuning, and resiliency improvement initiatives across environments.
• Collaborate with Security teams to ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and other industry standards.
• Partner with application and product teams to ensure cloud architectures support scalability and fault tolerance.
• Provide technical governance and best practices for DevOps, monitoring, and observability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Conduct POCs and solution evaluations for emerging cloud technologies relevant to payment processing, data analytics, and API security.
• Mentor engineering teams and contribute to building the Cloud Center of Excellence within the organization..

Skills & Tools:

• Expertise in microservices, APIs, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Deep understanding of networking, security, IAM, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and related DevOps toolchains.
• Experience in designing high-availability, disaster recovery, and multi-region architectures.
• Prior experience with Payments / BFSI domain solutions preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications:

• A bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple audiences, including firm-wide business units, senior leaders, associates and clients.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Strong planning and organizational skills
