We are seeking an experienced GCP Solution Architect with 12+ years of overall IT experience and deep expertise in designing, architecting, and implementing cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will lead cloud transformation initiatives, define enterprise cloud architecture, drive migration strategies, and provide technical leadership for scalable, secure, and highly available solutions.

The candidate should possess strong experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, containerization, security, networking, data platforms, and modernization initiatives across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end cloud solutions leveraging GCP services aligned with business and technology objectives.

Define enterprise cloud architecture, standards, governance, and best practices.

Lead cloud migration and modernization programs from on-premises and other cloud platforms to GCP.

Architect highly scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud solutions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and delivery teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation practices.

Provide technical leadership and mentoring to architects, developers, and cloud engineers.

Design CI/CD pipelines and DevOps solutions for cloud-native applications.

Establish security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.

Conduct architecture reviews, solution assessments, and cloud readiness evaluations.

Work closely with data, AI/ML, analytics, and application teams to build enterprise-grade cloud solutions.

Create solution architecture documents, HLDs, LLDs, and technical proposals.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.

12+ years of overall IT experience.

5+ years of architecting enterprise solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

Strong experience in cloud migration and modernization engagements.

Proven expertise in designing large-scale enterprise applications.

Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Certifications

Google Professional Cloud Architect (Mandatory/Preferred)

Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer

Google Professional Data Engineer

Google Professional Security Engineer

Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

TOGAF Certification (Good to Have)

Nice to Have

Experience with AI/ML solutions using Vertex AI.

Experience in GenAI implementations on GCP.

Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.

Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure + GCP).

Exposure to Data Engineering and Big Data platforms.
