Clinical Perfusionist

• Operate the heart lung machine.
• Make preparations prior to surgery like setting up machine, keeping the required drugs etc.
• Administer drugs as per the condition of the patient.
• Maintain the patient’s metabolism during the operation.
• Ensure that the patient’s condition is stabilized before removing the fixtures and tubes.
• Monitor the patient constantly.
• Restore the normal condition of the patient at the end of the operation.
• Coordinate with the Anesthetist and the Surgeon.
• Order equipment in consultation with the concerned doctor. Ensure its cost effectiveness and acceptable performance.
• Therapeutic procedures which includes setting up and managing mechanical ventilator with respect to flows and volume pressures, breathing rates and patterns and gas composition as prescribed.
• Check safety regulation such as fire preventive measures enforced and oxygen cylinder kept properly.

Administrative

• Possess information related to Hospital procedures/protocol
• Report all the incidence to the in charge
• Maintains discipline, dress code and punctuality among the staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
