Regional Clinical Operations Manager In-Patient and Clinical Services

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence & Patient Experience

• Oversee inpatient operations across wards, ICUs, HDUs, and day-care beds in all hospitals.
• Standardize admission, transfer, and discharge workflows for consistency and speed.
• Develop protocols for safe and efficient transition of care within hospital units and between facities.
• Drive inpatient NPS improvement and ensure timely closure of escalated complaints.
• Facilitate onboarding of new clinicians

Clinical Programs (Core Focus)

• Implement new clinical programs across the Chennai Region.
• Strengthen and monitor existing programs.
• Ensure cross-hospital compliance and measurable clinical outcomes.

Resource Optimization & Regional Collaboration

• Coordinate

  sharing of medical and non-medical resources

  across hospitals — doctors, nurses, biomedical assets, and allied teams.
• Support cross-unit deployment for high-demand specialties and regional clinical initiatives.
• Implement cost optimisation initiatives and projects
• Drive standardization of clinical workflows and service-delivery models across all units.

Data & Analytics

• Maintain a consolidated inpatient dashboard covering ALOS, discharge TAT, occupancy, infection rates, and NPS.
• Present performance insights and corrective action plans during monthly regional operations reviews.

Training & Capacity Building

• Conduct structured training on service excellence, safety protocols, and clinical pathway adherence.
• Organize inter-hospital exposure visits for knowledge sharing and leadership development.
