Clinical Care Coordinator

As a Clinical Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication and coordination among various stakeholders including the institution, clinicians, caregivers, and patients, particularly in the realm of specialized testing. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring data integrity, confirming information, and assisting in the accurate diagnosis of patients" conditions. This position is well-suited for individuals who have a keen interest in science and specialized testing but prefer a clinical environment over a laboratory setting. You will have the opportunity to explore the interplay between diagnostics and therapeutics while contributing to the field of clinical genomics, which is constantly evolving. Your day-to-day tasks will include communicating with patients and clinicians, managing institutional communications, raising awareness about products through online platforms or presentations, handling feedback, counseling patients in collaboration with clinicians, addressing research and commercial inquiries, and overseeing multi-disciplinary team meetings. Additionally, you will be responsible for logistics, sample routing, report review, sample collection management, and maintaining fiduciary integrity. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field. Strong communication, management, and problem-solving skills are essential, as you will often be required to work under pressure. Being a team player with proficiency in using computer software, particularly Microsoft Office, will be beneficial. This position is in the biotechnology industry and is offered on a contract basis.
