Job Description

Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
Interview patients, measure vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height) and record information on patient charts.
Prepare patients for healthcare visits by directing or accompanying them to the examination room.
Perform preliminary physical tests; review patients medical history and order investigations if required.
Counsel patients by relaying physician's instructions and addressing questions about surgery.
Educate patients on medications, diet, and provide instructions while answering general health-related questions.
Schedule surgeries, coordinate with surgical centers, verify timings with patients, and prepare charts, pre-admission, and consent forms.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following established standards, procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
