Climate Risk Consultant & Assistant Manager

As a Climate Risk professional at KPMG in India, your role will involve leveraging your expertise in Model Risk Management and Climate Risk models to support central data and modelling teams. This includes developing and validating models related to ESG and Climate Risk, such as climate change simulation models, nature hazard models, and climate scenario models. You will also be working on integrating climate risk data into credit risk models for various banking portfolios. Key Responsibilities: - Prior experience in Model Risk Management with GSIBs or Indian Banks - Understanding and working with ESG and Climate Risk models - Familiarity with climate-related datasets and scenarios - Developing and validating credit risk models for different banking portfolios - Using statistical algorithms for solving business challenges - Strong quantitative and analytical skills - Proficiency in SAS, Python, and R - Communication, analytical, and presentation skills Qualifications Required: - Degree/Qualified accountant/FRM with regulatory reporting background - Master's/Bachelor's degree in mathematics/statistics/economics/engineering/computer science/management or related fields - Certification in SCR or any other climate risk certification preferred If you are passionate about working in a dynamic environment, contributing fresh ideas, and advancing your career with excellent training and growth opportunities, KPMG Advisory Services in India is the perfect place for you!,
