Client Strategy Lead AI & IP Innovation

As a Client Strategy Lead for AI & IP Innovation, your role will involve leading a delivery pod to ensure quality, speed, and reliability in all services. Your focus will be on strengthening AI-assisted ways of working and aligning with client requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Delivery leadership: Plan and allocate tasks, track First Time Resolution (FTR), Turnaround Time (TAT), and rework. Manage audits and escalations effectively. - Quality & method: Implement light sampling/Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) checks, enforce evidence trails, and drive corrective actions where necessary. - AI enablement: Standardize prompts, agent steps, and checklists. Monitor compliance with guardrails to enhance efficiency. - Client interface: Understand client requirements, align deliverables with Service Level Agreements (SLA), and provide clear updates and insight-led recommendations for client satisfaction. - Team development: Coach Strategists and Junior team members, conduct playbook reviews, and address skills gaps for continuous improvement. - Continuous improvement: Identify and address tool/data issues, prioritize fixes, and pilot enhancements to optimize processes. Qualification Required: - 5+ years of experience in patent research with a background in review, mentoring, and client communication. - Comfort with dashboards, metrics, and workflow design. - Educational Qualification: Graduation/Masters in ECE, Biotechnology, or Chemistry. In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you will be working with tools such as AI and agentic tools, team trackers, simple dashboards, review sheets, and standard patent databases to support your role effectively. The key performance indicators (KPIs) for this role include pod-level quality and on-time percentage, rework percentage, Client Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) and Net Promoter Score (NPS), standardized prompt/checklist adoption, and team skill uplift. The scope of services covers Novelty/Patentability, Invalidation/Opposition, Claim Charts/Evidence of Use (EoU), Drafting Support, and Standard Essential Patents (SEP) essentiality.
