Job Description

Role Overview: You are Omnissa, a global private company at the forefront of providing IT infrastructure solutions that enable flexible work-from-anywhere options. As a Member of Technical Staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-tier technical support and maintaining hardware inventory to support the company's mission of empowering employees and maximizing customer value. Key Responsibilities: - Desktop Support: - Deliver prompt technical support for hardware and software issues to end-users. - Install, manage operating systems, applications, and software updates. - Assist with account setup, password resets, and documentation of technical procedures. - Hardware Inventory Management: - Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory and track assets throughout their lifecycle. - Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and manage procurement and deployment of new hardware. - IT Store/Depos Operations: - Oversee day-to-day operations, manage inventory, and assist colleagues in choosing IT equipment. - Provide guidance on hardware and software solutions based on company standards. - Executive Support: - Provide dedicated technical support to executive-level staff, prioritize requests, and ensure efficient service delivery. - Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop support or similar role. - Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems. - Experience with hardware inventory management systems and executive support. - Certifications in Microsoft or Apple technologies. - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
