Clearance Broker

As a Customs Clearance Specialist at FedEx, you will be responsible for executing and managing Clearance & Brokerage Operations with precision and adherence to regulatory and company standards. Your role will involve handling Brokerage Administration Services, focusing on accuracy and detail in data entry, document handling, and record maintenance. Providing top-notch Clearance Customer Service is a key aspect of your responsibilities, where you will efficiently respond to client inquiries and resolve clearance issues. You will also oversee Cage operations, ensuring proper documentation, secure processing, and compliance with internal controls. Supporting Cross Border Custom Clearance procedures, both face-to-face and online, will be part of your daily tasks. It is essential to identify and resolve anomalies following established rules and procedures while escalating complex issues to senior team members when necessary. Collaboration with the Supply Chain Solutions & Engineering teams will be required to optimize clearance processes and enhance service delivery. You will also handle Clearance Regulatory and Admin activities in alignment with internal protocols and external legal requirements. Your strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills will be crucial in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC skills will aid you in preparing reports, maintaining records, and supporting operational tasks with meticulous attention to detail. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience in Customs clearance along with G Card holder status. Demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail, Microsoft Office proficiency, planning and organizing skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities will make you a great fit for this position at FedEx.
