Job Summary : We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented cleaning staff to ensure that our premises are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all employees and visitors. Key Responsibilities : Cleaning and Sanitizing : Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, windowsills, and furniture. Clean restrooms, replenish supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap, hand sanitizer), and ensure sanitary conditions. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policy. Clean kitchens or break rooms, including washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and keeping appliances organized. Maintaining Supplies : Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, requesting replacements as needed. Ensure proper storage and handling of cleaning materials. General Maintenance : Clean glass and mirrors to ensure they are free from smudges. Spot clean areas as needed to ensure all surfaces are consistently maintained. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards (e.g., broken equipment, spills) to the supervisor. Adhere to Health & Safety Standards : Follow all company guidelines regarding the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Ensure that cleaning tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) where necessary. Qualifications : Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is required. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks. Good communication skills. Ability to lift and move cleaning supplies and equipment (must be able to carry up to 25 lbs). Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
