Cleaning Staff

Job Summary:

We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented cleaning staff to ensure that our premises are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Sanitizing:
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, windowsills, and furniture.
• Clean restrooms, replenish supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap, hand sanitizer), and ensure sanitary conditions.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policy.
• Clean kitchens or break rooms, including washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and keeping appliances organized.
• Maintaining Supplies:
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, requesting replacements as needed.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of cleaning materials.
• General Maintenance:
• Clean glass and mirrors to ensure they are free from smudges.
• Spot clean areas as needed to ensure all surfaces are consistently maintained.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards (e.g., broken equipment, spills) to the supervisor.
• Adhere to Health & Safety Standards:
• Follow all company guidelines regarding the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure that cleaning tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) where necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move cleaning supplies and equipment (must be able to carry up to 25 lbs).
• Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
