Job Description

Job Title: Housekeeping Staff

Location: Al-Azhar Medical College & Super Speciality Hospital, Thodupuzha, Kerala

Purpose:

Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all hospital areas to support infection control and patient comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and disinfect patient rooms, wards, ICUs, OTs, and public areas.
Manage waste disposal and linen collection per hospital protocols.
Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely.
Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
Respect patient privacy and work with hospital staff to ensure a clean environment.

Requirements:

High school education preferred; hospital cleaning experience an advantage.
Physical stamina and attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Reliability, hygiene awareness, and respectful behavior.

Responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic hospital environment, directly contributing to patient well-being and infection prevention.
