Room Cleaning & Maintenance: Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and common areas as per hotel standards. Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities (soap, shampoo, tissue, etc.). Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings. Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors. Ensure rooms are well stocked with essential supplies. Public Area Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in hotel lobbies, elevators, stairwells, and other public spaces. Regularly check and clean public restrooms and lounges. Report any maintenance issues such as broken fixtures or faulty equipment. Laundry Services: Collect and handle soiled linens and towels. Transport linens to and from the laundry room. Sort, fold, and store clean linens properly. Guest Interaction & Service: Respond to guest requests for additional supplies, room services, or other assistance. Ensure timely delivery of housekeeping services. Handle guest complaints or issues politely and professionally, reporting them to management when necessary. Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to hotel health, safety, and hygiene policies. Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely. Ensure all cleaning tools and supplies are used and stored correctly. Inventory & Supplies: Monitor and report the inventory of housekeeping supplies. Ensure that housekeeping trolleys are well-stocked and organized. Notify the supervisor when supplies need replenishing. Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with other housekeeping team members to ensure smooth operation. Coordinate with maintenance and front office teams to address room issues. Assist in training new housekeeping staff when required.
